About

The Renovation Project video podcast is a message by Dr Steve Johnson: husband of one, father of four; grandfather of seven, builder, longshoreman, and teaching pastor.

Summa cum Laude graduate of Vanguard University in Pastoral Ministry; MA from Fuller Theological Seminary in Biblical Studies and Theology; and DMin. from Talbot School of Theology at Biola.

Dr Johnson is a retired General Contractor, current Longshoreman at the Long Beach Harbor in Southern California; and a teaching pastor and professor of biblical studies. He has been married to Leila for forty five years. Together they have three sons and one daughter and spouses to go with each one. 

When not involved in one of the above activities, Steve can be found at the gym early in the morning six days a week; in the backyard gardening…or working on a home project. He is passionate about teaching God’s Word through practical parables of construction experiences and daily life situations. He is an avid reader and researcher but encourages everyone to be diligent to fact-check sources and refer to the ultimate truth, the Bible.

Encouraging, exhorting and challenging God followers to become more like Christ is his purpose and goal.
