An Infested Life!

This is the inaugural episode of Renovation Project! We invite you to join us as former custom home builder, Longshoreman and current teaching pastor, Dr Steve Johnson relates his construction parables and their parallel correlation to our own personal renovation. In this first episode, Steve presents to you the narrative concerning a very extensive remodel he took on in South Orange County, California. Though he was primarily a new construction contractor, this particular project required special attention…as you will soon find out. This remodel forms the foundation for Renovation Project podcasts.

Through forty years of finish carpentry and general contracting experience, Steve brings a unique presentation of the biblical account. His goal in this first episode is to introduce you to the necessity of entering into the renovation process. All of us are in need of renovation no matter how long we have been journeying with Jesus. The problem is an internal one…we are all infested! The good news is that Jesus will never abandon us and move on to an easier project; and neither will he totally demolish us and start over. His plan is always option #3, which is a surgical demolition that exposes compromised and infested areas of our lives. He assists in upgrading and bringing us up to code; He provides direction and craftsmanship; and He constructs a structurally sound foundation upon which to build an amazing residence.
