Don’t Cut Corners
It takes discipline to follow protocols. Why? Well, because most of us are in a hurry and think we know a better, faster, more efficient way to get from A to B. However, the acrostic GIGO confirms a life reality: garbage-in-garbage-out. In other words, we can’t expect a quality outcome with sloppy input. It’s the sowing and reaping principle - we’re going to get back what we put in. But not the way we think!
When the Israelites were commanded not to cut the corners of their fields or strip their vineyards bare, God was promoting a life of generosity based on how He had blessed them. We have all been incredibly blessed and don’t need to hoard and live selfishly - cutting corners is a life of selfishness an greed and shows that life is all about “me”. Well, it’s actually not!
In this episode, Steve takes us through the important life concept of living generously. Though we think cutting corners of our fields and keeping it all for ourselves is a good business model, that is a surefire way to a GIGO life!
