God is in Control

Have you ever asked the question: If God is both loving and powerful…why is there so much evil, corruption and suffering? Are you kidding me right now? God, either you are sleeping, don’t care or aren’t as strong as the Bible describes you…I just don’t get it?

Perhaps those sentiments represent your perspective. If God has the power and ability to step in and make any change He wants, then why is it we don’t see that happening. Rather, we see the earth revolting with earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, floods and famines. We see moral decay represented throughout every community and especially in the corporate world. There are power struggles and takeovers where innocent civilians who just want to live in peace are caught in the crosshairs of war. Evil appears to be winning…so where is God?

And, if this God is all loving…meaning He does have motive for stepping in—then why in the world doesn’t He? Perhaps He doesn’t love us as much as we were taught!

In today’s podcast, Dr J will address the often misunderstood concept of God’s sovereignty. Most totally don’t get how God chose to govern this planet and its inhabitants. However, when you understand, it will be a game changer. It makes you and I very responsible for our actions and responses. Spoiler alert…It’s not God’s fault that the world is so screwed up…it’s ours!
